The Residence in Johannesburg, South Africa

The very first place I ever visited in Africa was The Residence. It blew me away. It’s in Johannesburg and was so beautiful, one of a kind, and safe.

My room was absolutely gorgeous and to relax even more after a 20 hour journey I jumped into the amazing bathtub ๐Ÿ›€๐Ÿ’

Felt like a princess here ๐Ÿ‘‘ The whole hotel is super unique and has everything you could ever need. My little suite had a living room, a private balcony, and every amenity to make me feel comfortable and at home.

A journal from my friend Amanda Archer. She was kind enough to set the whole trip up for us. Thank you Amanda ๐Ÿ™

Loved the “Crystal” key and African map on the wall in the bathroom ๐Ÿ—

Chandeliers outside of my room, just love them.

The hotel has the most beautiful places to relax and play. Loved the multiple pools and the tennis court โค๏ธ

Walking into the bar / restaurant area which had live piano music going. Loved it.

“Reading glasses for your convenience.” First time I’ve ever seen this. Such a good idea.

Delicious dinner. Had the chance to meet the chef and the owners at dinner, such a privilege to learn about the hotel and about their other properties.

On our way out, we stopped by the home of Nelson Mandela. Felt very privileged to have seen it and was amazing how close to the hotel it is.

A big thank you to The Residence, I cant wait to visit again.
